To lose weight and keep it off, we need to exercise. But to keep exercising, we need to stay motivated, and not get bored. So the more choices we have the better. That’s why at MTA Sports Center you can choose from a huge range of fat-burning exercise options.

Body Fat Scale Measuring
You need accountability to reach your goals! You will meet with a specialist to form a plan, will be encouraged to find a community within the club that will support you through your journey, and most importantly, you will have a mentor to check in regularly to see how you are doing. Accountability, Accountability, Accountability!
Our Grizzly Fitness Wellness and Weight Loss Program’s foundational piece is individual planning. No two people are alike. What works for one doesn’t work for another. You will develop a plan that fits you. Your specialist will work you through this process.
Part of your individual plan will include a MyZone belt that you can purchase at MTA Sports Center. We only charge our cost for the belts. The MyZone belts provide additional motivation for you to reach your goals. The belts allow you to see how many calories you are burning, track your effort, and your workout duration. You also can earn MyZone points called MEP’s that will allow you to compete in challenges, further increasing your motivation to lose weight.
Body Fat Scale Measuring
Part of your plan will most certainly include a periodic measurement of your body fat. Don’t worry; it’s not invasive or embarrassing. Your fitness expert can show you how it’s done.
Hiring a trainer to assist you along the way may be necessary. Maybe you need a more proactive approach to start your plan. One of our highly trained personal trainers may be exactly what you need. If you plateau at some point in your journey, you can also hire a trainer to assist you in finding different workout strategies.
Goals are a must. How can you reach a mark without first knowing where you are headed? You will be challenged to write down a goal(s) that will be used to track your process and provide motivation as you see results!
Once you begin executing your plan your mentor will check in regularly to see how you are doing. Depending on your individual plan, you may have some weight check in’s or other measurements to collect data to track your progress. Check in’s are a critical step to the process.
Many people fail at their weight loss goals because they fail to find community. Within the walls of MTA Sports Center there are many people like you. Whether it’s within a class you attend, a circle of friends you make, or an activity taking place at the Sports Center, it will be an expectation that you find a community that will partner with you along your journey. And besides that you will make new friends!
As needed, support groups may be added to your plan. Many support groups can be found online. Your support specialist will assist you with this.
